I will try to make this as easy as possible since I know some people are not computer literate !
In Everquest - start /log on (this is important) - make sure you have Show All damage (pets, self, others) selected in EQ options - Also go into EQ Commands > UI > Copy to Clipboard and select hotkey (mine is CTRL Y)
Step 1 - Go to gambosoft.com and click download. Select GamParser v1.03 with installer
Step 2 - Save to folder (mine is Everquest Add-Ons) and Unzip that folder. (default is under User > Downloads)
Step 3 - Install GamParser and open new Gamparser folder and double click on GamParser application (ClickOnce application)
Step 4 - It will do a quick validate of program (5 seconds) and program will open.
Step 5 - Go to Option tab on GamParse and select everything except - Offer to backup file, enable autosend to EQ (will tell you why later), and all the checkbox on the right side.
Step 6 - Change Default battle time (60 seconds) - Discard fight if under (5000 dmg) - Select /g for Output channel (group) or /say for say channel, etc
Step 7 - Click on "Select File" next to Auto-Monitor checkbox and go into you Everquest folder > Logs > eqlog_(toon name) and click it
Step 8 - Keep GamParser running and log into EQ and log toon into game - make sure to turn on /log (you have to do this everytime you log in)
Step 9 - Get in group and fight a mob or solo - after fight is done - click on GamParser program (Fight List tab) to see the mob you killed
Step 10 - Go to Overview tab and click on Send Summary to EQ - then go back to EQ and hit enter to chat, then hit command to "Copy to clipboard" (mine is Crtl Y) and hit enter
That is all there is to it - just rinse and repeat step 9-10 when you want to display Game parser in EQ for your group - or you can look at the program without displaying to group - your choice !!
Have fun and if you have any questions - send Kahlya or Lifecurse a tell
