Ok. I've had a fellowship ever since they started.
And with the new XP Sharing a lot more people have gotten interested, so I thought I'd post a little about them.
#1. If you group with the same people regularly then you SHOULD have one.
-- It takes 3 people to make a 4 hour campfire which is basically a place that you can port back too (by clicking your insignia) every 15 Minutes !!!!!
-- It does require 3 people to be in that spot to CREATE the campfire.
-- It allows the creation of 'specialty' campfires which last for 1 hour (I have never used them..I usually just want the port ability for 4 hours).
#2. You can switch leadership while offline. This is VERY handy if you need to invite alts and the person who will be doing the invites is not online.
HOWEVER - You do need to have the person you are inviting in the same zone and on your target...can't simply do a remote invite sadly.

Now, the xp sharing is a little buggy (or just very poorly documented at the time of this writing).
What I KNOW--
#1. Only the character sharing OR the Fellowship Leader (again very handy to be able to switch leaders while they are offline) can modify your xp sharing status. The interface is a bit odd though, and you will notice that each time you have to manually select the character's entry and then hit toggle xp. It then unselects them, I'm not sure if this was to keep you from toggling them off/on again by accident.
#2. The person you are sharing with MUST be in a level range to get xp with your GROUP (if you have one), it's as iff they were in the group too. I am UNSURE if this means that the mobs have to also provide xp or not.....
#3. It is an equal share (I think) depending on the number of people who you are sharing with. So if you're sharing with 3 people (plus yourself) then you each are getting 1/4th.
Anyway, that's my notes on the subject.
Have fun!
